My hair's all short now. Haven't had it this short since P6? and that one was a mistake. Short hair has its advantages though, less soap, dries faster and not needing to tie it up to go to school.
but i think i'll let it grow and won't cut it shorter when it grows out again.
Handed in my OCIP form on monday. Chiang Rai's my FIRST CHOICE! but my chances of getting it is slim. Sister is leaving at the end of this year :'( so to go to CR this year is a must! OHG HUG!!! :'(

i had gp remedial today. and yes. my gp is badddd. one mark higher than my chinese!! so demoralising.
Gp remedial wasn't as bad as i thought it would be though. Turned out to be fun :D hahaha.

i don't know why, but in church i suddenly had an urge to revert back to the old.
To really study hard and do my QT.

Had a really good discussion during Sunday School today.
Spent an extra half an hour talking till we were late for service and had to sit outside on those small chairs meant for kindergarten kids.
I understand better now, so sitting outside was worth it :D

i think its the best action/ act/ situation ever. Cause it's really heartening :D
and like we learnt, Love endures an offense without seeking revenge against the one who committed, Love isn't enraged by the injurious things that are done to it but it takes those things in stride, Love doesn't hold the evil that is done to it against the one who did it but forgives that person and treats that person on a personal level just as though the evil had not been done and so we can see how important these lessons really are.

i've not been here for more than a month cause i've not been seeing the need to blog and i'm lazy to think of what to blog too. Don't think anyone even comes here already. hahahabut i've been thinking about friendships, friends, my friends. I really cherish all my friends, i think they make life more meaningful other than God and family.
It really is true that through trial and tribulation that hope and patience and thus more Love comes with it.

So the holidays are almost over :( spent the first week going back to school for lectures, the second to CHINAAAAA and the third for church camp!! and this week is suppose to be my, super study week, haha SSW. okay a bit weird actually. but i think it has been going quite well since i finally finished doing geog notes!!! It took up SO MUCH of my time. and i haven't even started on math or econs as yet. and exams are... next week! Don't know how i'm going to pass, seriously.
But i've enjoyed this june holidays a lot! :D at the expense of my studying. hahaha. i need to buck up and make sure this week is a success of some sort.

I have not seen so many people this holiday too. All the " let's meet during the holidays" are failing/ failed already. Nvm 2nd july!!!! can't wait :D

the two messages yesterday during open sunday and service were really good and easy to understand. I've learnt so much from them and i'm kind of happy that i didn't go for choir too if not i wouldn't have able to listen to the 2nd service message. but i feel guilty for not going for choir but i had a sore throat. so i couldn't sing right?

The message was about soaring like eagles and to cast all our cares on God. and i like this part of it, pray and let God worry. I think i've been worrying about things too much recently which i shouldn't be too worried about either and i've been neglecting my QT quite a lot too. which is really really bad and i feel guilty about that too. but its been picking up so thank God!

At the start of the evening of praise, a lady shared about her favourite hymn and i realised that i never really had a favourite hymn. but from yesterday's message my fav. hymn will be Wait on the Lord. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary; they'll walk and not faint. Wait, I say, wait on the Lord. It's a very nice song and meaningful too. I do hope i'll wait on the Lord.

February is passing fast. March is nearing! and tests are coming.

i think i'm going to need math tuition soon. firstly, i don't exactly understand everything and secondly, i don't like my math teacher. Failing my first math test is a high possibility.

I did an econs quiz yesterday and failed with a 4/10. but but. i could have passed! if i didnt just read the first two words and not see that the last word was immobility and not mobility. oh well. i think i have to start studying really soon. have to try doing math :(

we've got a new pet called crackers who is 2 inches long and is a terapin! (sp?)
after many many days of paul begging my mum to get him one, he finally did. He wanted a pet that he could play with. I have no idea how you can play with a terapin actually.
It's so dead. Sitting in the tank with lego built to be a terapin house
but oh well. my mummy bought turtle conditioner for it! never heard of such a thing till we went to the pet shop and i found out that you can put this white block into the fish tank and it can feed the fish for a week! never knew this kind of high technology white blocks of food even existed. pet shops are interesting. haha

using my new laptop to post given to me by my godpa (: it was so unexpected and i thought it was a trick initially. The way everyone was staring at me holding the box made me so self conscious and i ended up reading out everything on the box to make things feel less awkward till they rushed me to open the box instead. couldn't believe inside was a laptop though!

went to digilab on tuesday with ama. changed our meeting time to 2to3.Mr Chan just took forever to send us the class lists as he went for an amazing race around singapore. ended up arriving at 3.30 cause we got lost as i had expected. And a man thought ama's phone had GPRS cause she took a picture of a map! it was a total waste of time really. we went there and the lady asked us if we came just to see how the tags look like. and we stayed there for less than 5 minutes

our circle line "tour" yesterday turned out to be surprisingly fun. can't wait for it to be completed so that there would be a holland village mrt :) but it'll be done only in two years. it's taking so long. the construction makes holland village look horrible.

so my saturday today was a lot more exciting than the rest of the boring saturdays in preparation for the terrible exams which weren't really always successful. love you shu yi for planning another lunch today. i enjoyed myself :D even though i was a teeny weeny bit late and had to wait for the guy to move away before i could even hear what you all were talking about clearly.
i miss ltf once again. i've not been there for ages. sang my heart out during the hymns cause i missed singing with ltf (: i've learnt not to ignore the holy spirit's promptings from the screening of left behind and i think lots of others learnt something as well. a thumbs up to a good choice.
and jamie lau got a big monkey for her birthday! it's the size of those "build-a-bear" toys at united square. i think the turtle is cuter though . plus the turtle carries a backpack (:
had dinner with the tay's after ltf and darius and i had free massages on the u squeeze warm machine. my mummy was so jealous when she called and asked us what we were doing. so now she doesn't mind my grandma bringing home the foot massage machine. i will be able to have a massage everyday!

i feel good and happy to be back in church on saturdays again. i miss you all. i miss ltf (: yesterday was yf-ltf loving caring day. and my group went to wampoa for our "food hunt" which was more of go there and spend the money they gave us on food. Eunice, mag and i combined money and bought rojak, hokkien mee and carrot cake. it was like heaven :D the food was really really good. and i think lim heem is hilarious. he complaining about putting salt with fruits and going on about "let's go watch shopaholic!". Mag and i kept laughing the entire trip there and back.
played captains ball, ltf against yf. i don't think ltf will ever win due to the height of all the people in yf. they are all so tall. they tower over me, and the ball flies over my head whenever i try to defend. defending is useless.then played sitting down monkey. which ended up to be quite a success surprisingly. i'm looking forward to next weeks beulah house dedication dinner but i have no idea why also since we don't even know who we are going to sit with besides debbs. haha. and HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY CHARMAINE LOW! :D

sec 1 orientation would be over by the end of today. I'm glad yesterday is over . No more touring around the school till my legs ache anymore. Done with 9 class of touring with Hui Jie which lasted for 6 long hours. Couldn't even stay awake during tuition, kept nodding off to sleep and ended up asking the teacher for a break so that I could sleep more (: and she actually did! but for 5 mins.
Had house games today :D it was fun "ice skating" on the canvas mats and watching groups trying to swallow 18 bananas as fast as they can. cleaning was long, more than an hour of sweeping the basketball court, trying to get the soapy water to go into the drains. sec 1 orientation is done :D one event striked out from the number of events we still have ahead. its going to be busy busy busy. but God would sustain me :D

and i'm still in C ban in chinese! thank God i didn't downgrade to D ban. i thought they would call my name to be in D but i wasn't (: Daph and WJ UPGRADED! to B ban! i'll miss both of you, doing zhuo wen with both of you is fun! and you all don't mind my noisiness as well (:

one of the clues told us to go to a corner, another to find a door and wall.

The whole place had so many corners, doors, and obviously everywhere had walls

but it was fun! (: and we manaed to find 12 out of 14 clues. which is good enough (:

watched twilight for the second time yesterday with tissue chen xin and vic!
was going to catch the 3.50 show atcine. but it was all sold out
walked all the way to lido
where the 4.30 show was practically empty
it was more fun watching it the second time
we commented throughout the whole show which made it more fun to watch (: glad that they are going to change directors for the next one!
but i like Alice though :D
had dinner in the cinema, teriyaki chicken burger from mos :D
and rushed all the way to tuition by taxi, cause chen xin s mum was really really angry.
and we realised that taxi drivers really hear things they shouldn't.i bet he was laughing at our whole conversation. and he received a $2 tip from chen xin cause we were rushing out of the taxi
bet he was glad he picked us up :D
went for tuition , and even priscilla, the receptionist knew we went for a movie. that was scary.

house farewell last sat was great! had loads of fun :D
the games were based on reality tv shows
shi pei s and my station was fear factor(:
made them gobble up kiwi, cheese dippers, kit kat and drink a can of ginger beer!
other games were i survived a japanese gameshow, so you think you can dance
and dont forget the lyrics :D
i'll miss this years comm!
but i love the comm of 08/09 as well! :D

went to waffleton after service yesterday with mags, mag, tab, and joanne
talked about war! hahaha
it was both interesting and funny :) cause tab s and mags stories were quite comical
went back to church to make chirstmas gifts. im so sick of those beads.
we ve been making those things for three days straight already.
sunday school outing was fun though! cycling in bishan park (: especially with mags and huixian!
and auntie marianne cooked salmon and spaghetti for us.
the salmon was good (:

dance today was kind of fun :D but my pirouettes has been failing me :( i can't do doubles properly except during the whole routine itself. shows that i have a high chance of not getting into syf and auditions is already on tuesday!
went to dhoby ghaut with theresaa :D and we found this nice animal printed cloth in spotlight. bought half a meter to make alvar's lens pouch thing. and he doesn't like the cloth. but i dont think they'll allow me to return it and i like it anyway :D so he just has to accept it :D
looked at all the sewing machines. they have a wide range of prices from like $250 to like thousands over! super expensive. i shall save for the cheapest and the ones which can do all the different ziggidy- zaggidy things for hemming. i think buying a sewing machine is worth it . then i wont have to spend 3 hours just to sew one pouch right? just like 15 mins or something :D
can't wait to get a sewing machine and learn how to make clothes!

baked cupcakes at cheryl's house today which ended up tasting like brownies. but it was still very good :D the first batch was terrible. cause we didn't know that we couldn't put the sprinkles on the cupcake before we were suppose to bake it. shows how inexperienced i am. and adding on to the terrible-ness. the oven would trip the electricity supply if the temperature was too high. so we were supposed to bake it at 180 degrees but only managed to get the oven to 140. Which thus led to the first batch being so horrible with all the sprinkles melted and the cupcake sunken in. it still tasted good anyhow! just looked ugly.

took extra care in making the second batch :D put them in muffin cups cause the first batch was still hogging the cupcake trays. with no sprinkles and with the oven hot from the first batch. it looked so much nicer and rounder! like normal cupcakes :D haha. so proud of the second batch (:

exams are finally over!
chem was like rubbish, and to think i aimed for 70 after failing mid-years.
i set far too high goals for myself to achieve :(
and i didnt finish ss and geog. chinese was disastrous. couldnt understand a thing! here i come syllabus B chinese :D
shall not talk about exams any more cause its over! :D :D

LTF today was good
made me think about my life and all.shall try to remember to practice what i wrote down

and i've been looking at recipes for baking on monday :D
everything all looks so yummy! i feel like eating the cupcakes cookies cakes and all the stuff on the website.

Paul has becoming a money face this pass 3 days. started out on sunday when he wanted someone to buy him 3 paos from crystal jade ( obviously no one wanted to ) then he pasted a post-it on the door saying that we had to knock lest we be charged $1 for not knocking.
it s such a nuisance having to knock the door before entering and to hear paul constantly asking for the $2 which i ve been charged for not knocking twice! which im certainly not going to pay up (: and he pasted on other doors as well! like the door to our house, my father 's cupboard (door) and dewi pasted on the fridge and kitchen door to catch paul for not knocking as well :D since he is all ready to take down how much each of us owes him.

SS this friday. i m still quite confused though. cant remember all the format like whether to say the tone motive purpose and all the rubbish SS stuff. so much to remember so little time! and im still here blogging..

i shall go and finish typing the english essay :(

i think i m watching too much of the olympics already and not studying for geography

watched weightlifting, gymnastics, handball and womens basketball yesterday

and today i ve watched swimming, womens gymnastics, cycling and now basketball between china and USA.

mags and i made manned the cotton candy stall today for the FEK games day :D
cotton candy making is fun, everyone should try too (: even though your hands and arm gets sticky and bees and flies start getting attracted to you. still must try!
played "soccer" and frisbee after lunch.it was extremely tiring playing in the hot hot sun. sweat. i didnt know en zhao was such a good goalie
i only managed to get the ball in 4 times out of the many many times i tried to kick the ball in
so i ve concluded that frisbee is much more fun than soccer. (:
and debbs taught me how to play a bit of the piano today (:
i can play the C thing and the A thing and the first line of song 45 :D
but i dont think i can remember it already :(

school yesterday was fun :D

brough an extra PE shirt to school yesterday thinking that i can finally return cheryl her pe attire
but i ended up bringing the wrong size!
cause apparently, her shirt size is XXS and i brought XS.

then had PE after two periods of math
we only needed to run 2 rounds round the track :D better than the like 8,9 rounds we were supposed to run at the start of the year
then after stretching and all we could do anything we wanted :D
so we played netball (:
where i hardly even managed to shoot the ball in
must practice practice (:
and angela and steph all got so many in!

got bored of netball and they decided to go to the gym
but it was locked and they were too lazy to get the key
so we didnt need to go into the smelly gym in the end (:
ended up playing badminton :D

super fun like anything
played until we were dead tired. and i couldnt surf properly
after the two bells rang, we went to the part of the hall where the badminton court is marked out,
then dont know what happened also, we started jumping up and down and laughing and laughing.
had to run all the way back to class cause we were late!

and i thought i would be able to read my storybook during chinese class
cause i had already done the newspaper report in march!
i was like " lao shi! wo wan le!" and i was sooo happy
then she came over, took the paper and read the whole compo
and asked me to redo again
so rubbish like anything.
next time i ll wait until the 1st bell rings then i hand it in

miss nandar threatened us that she will shift one of us to another table during chem
but we were talking about chemistry, discussing the answers to her ws!
then miss nandar left half way and mrs tay took over.
and she made steph and i mix the liquids together again cause she said we never do properly
we did properly okay!
we had the same answer as she had.

rushing to learn my ting xie for chinese tuition which is at 3
i dread chinese tuition
1hr takes forever to pass
BUT at least i have a nice chinese tutor who offers me milo and biscuits everytime i go there
and she gave dewi and i ang pao for chinese new year too!
so good right!
and and
i go to her house for tuition which is like 2 blocks away from mine :D
so if im late, i just run there
and i ll reach there in 5 min? or less?
anyway so back to ting xie. i dont even need to learn the words from the shou ce anymore
but lao shi says that i can use it in my essay, which i never do
cause i forget all the words by then

so now im going to spend half an hour learning ting xie
which is better than usual (: cause i usually learn my ting xie in the bus ride home which is 15 min
so maybe i ll get everything right today :D but i usually get 90/100 anyway (with promptings from her, cause she reads out the chinese meaning and not the word itself )
so she is forever telling me " nian li, ni yao nu li" and i go nodding my head

so she ll be happy with me today :D i hope.

but hey. i am improving :D so that means im nu li-ing

eh 10 marks okay!

dance night and VBS are over :(

im thankful to God that my nerves didn'g get the better of me on saturday :D
while waiting to go on
i was praying and praying that i would remain calm and not to be too nervous
and my prayers were answered :D

and i ve been missing QT quite a lot these days which is not good :(
so i shall start doing my QT regularly again :D

so dance night was successful!
and im really happy that theresa and i were fast enough to help jo do all the quick-changing :D
all the rushing and all. but it was fun (:
and i didnt know i was dancing right in front of my family
woah. luckily i couldn't see them, till curtain call

VBS is yet another experience
i was an assistant teacher with Esther with Auntie Sharon as the teacher
i only went for the 2nd and 3rd day
and i missed the day with phototaking : (

my class was mostly girls and two boys
and im glad there were only 2 boys (:

this boy called jun wei kept following what i did during the games session on the 2nd day
whatever facial expressions or hand movements i did, he would do the same thing
so i sent him up to go play simon says
but he didnt really last in that game
and paul and another girl tied as winners in the end
paul liked the simon says game so much, that he came home and wanted all of us to play it as well
i didnt want to play it, so whoever was simon had fun saying "simon says tickle nadia".then they'll all come and tickle me.
it was torturing cause i dont like being tickled

the third day of VBS was okay
except when one of the children spilled their drink on the stairs
or when the little girl "scolded" me for not washing my hands before i took back my plastic bag from her
i like my P3 class anyway
class 11 :D
they were so enthusiastic when they were memorising or reciting the memory verses
and when asked if they would want to knoe more about God
almost everyone raised up their hands
Gillian even raised up two hands!
and yesterday, Auntie Sharon told me that 4 of them accepted Christ. :D :D :D

and now i have yet to complete my thousands of hmw which i have not started yet.

NETBALL CARNIVAL YESTERDAY
played one game of netball :D
nga and i ran into each other while trying to get the ball
and her spectacles left a mark on my forehead
the telematch was fun too, cheryl and i.
i didnt do the chest pass thing. but high ball is nicer and easier to catch (i think)
and 3/3 is lousy at netball, but we re good at painting banners!

i painted the ground :D but the colour was horrible cause the black did not mix properly with the rest of the paint. so im glad they covered it with sand (: otherwise i dont think we would have won first at all

cheryl and i were 1 and a half hours late for dance
and i became even later cause i couldnt find everyone
went to the hall
then walked down to the performing arts room
then climbed 6 levels all the way to the dance studio
to find out that they were in the hall behind the curtains on the stage!
waste my time and energy only!

but i spent the last one hour of dance reading my story book and getting blocked past 5
so i probably didnt even miss much during the 1 and a half hours when i was away
which is good :D

doing chinese oral.
we are given 14 topics to practice on
the answers for each question are so long.
so im shortening it and making the words easier, but i doubt i ll be able to remember 14 topics comprising of 3 questions each : (

i remember my oral last year and i got "flag day" as my topic.
only after the oral when i asked my friend what the chinese words were did i realise that it was about flag day
so i guess i had been talking rubbish during the whole oral and failed.

i shall try not to fail this time :D
